What size options are available for the portraits?
We offer a range of sizes, from small intimate portraits to large statement pieces:
- 20x30 cm (7.9 x 11.8 in)
- 30x40 cm (11.8 x 15.7 in)
- 40x60 cm (15.7 x 23.6 in)
- 60x80 cm (23.6 x 31.5 in)
How long does it take to complete a pet oil portrait?
Completion times vary based on size and complexity, typically ranging from 8-10 days for one artist to complete one painting.
Completing an oil-on-canvas painting are challenging due to the intricate layering and blending techniques involved, as well as the complexity of working with the oil and color pigments. We also would rather be extra delicate and attentive in painting the artwork, than rushing to finish orders.
That is part of the reasons why our oil-on-canvas art piece is truly desirable.
Can I provide multiple reference photos for the portrait?
No, please kindly upload only 1 good-quality, sharp photo of the subject as it is more efficient to paint based on a single focused subject.
If you want to change the pet photo after checking-out, email us at info@preciousportrait.studio . Include your order number, request and the new photo.
How do your studio ensure the likeness and personality of my pet are captured accurately?
Our skilled and experienced artists meticulously examine the photo and bring it to life with attention to detail and up to 90% of matching likeness.
Kindly note that it is truly an art piece, not a photo; hence it is not feasible to hand paint it to look 100% exactly like a photo.
The other 10% are subject to difference allowance and the artist's creativity to add a touch of his or her characteristics to the art piece.
Do you offer framing services for the completed portraits?
Yes, we provide standard framing (white, black & gold high-quality plastic frame) to complement your artwork and enhance its presentation. The frames are made of high-quality plastic material which is contemporary, sturdy and very durable.
Framing is already included in the total quote. Your artwork, when delivered, is ready to be showcased.
How is the finished artwork delivered, and is it protected?
Finished artworks from our studio are carefully packaged with international standard packaging and handling practice for valuable artworks.
It is carefully framed, then boxed in a high-quality wood case wrapped with shipping foam and 3-ply carton box for extra protection.
The whole package then will be shipped internationally via reliable courier services, with tracking provided. Normally, international delivery takes 8-12 business days, unless there are special events or a disruption of the shipping industry.
Are revisions included in the commission process?
Revisions are not offered by our studio at the moment. Once the artists paint and complete a portrait artwork, it will be checked by our management team and shipped to your address efficiently.
We guarantee the painting quality with up to 90% of matching likeness.
What materials and techniques do your artists use to create oil-on-canvas portraits, and what makes them unique?

Our portraits are unique and valuable because they are created with utmost attention to details, rich in texture, vibrant in color, amazingly durable and truly personalized since it is indeed one-of-a-kind.
When I upload the photo with a background, do you draw the exact background setting as well?
Our artists, at the moment, will create a creative, impressionism background to replace your photo background. The artist will only focus on re-creating the subjects of your photo precisely.
We will not hand-paint your exact background. The reason is that it will take a lot more time, effort and will cost a lot more to do so.
